Sales Representative

The Sales Representatives will sell the company’s range of customers and will seek to expand market share by finding and engaging referrals, networking, and cold calling. All applying candidates must have access to transportation in order to facilitate this role. 


Duties

  • Generating and following up on leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective and existing customers.
  • Establishing relationships with customers.
  • Assisting in the development of quotations, promotions and negotiation strategies.
  • Delivering sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Aligning sales efforts with marketing campaigns.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Following up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
  • Visiting clients and prospective clients to establish their needs and advise on suitable products.
  • Assisting clients by responding to product and availability queries.
  • Ensuring that product knowledge is extensive and up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills


  • A proven track record in sales and expressed understanding of the sales process.
  • Strong desire to give exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication and negotiations skills.
  • A minimum of 5 CXCs at General Proficiency inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge.
